"We had a lovely stay at the Whitewater hotel. All the staff were very friendly. We stayed for 1 night with our 3 month old baby and was given a really spacious room on the ground floor with a travel cot. We did stay for dinner at the hotel. The starter was a bit disappointing and when the waiter asked why we hadn't finished it he took it off the bill. The lamb and the steak was lovely. Breakfast was also nice. "On arrival was concerned as there was wedding taking place at the hotel, lots of people. We were greeted by Rose on reception who was friendly and informative. We stayed in room 111 which had a wonderful view of the sea and st bees head, I found this to be very impressive, the room was comfortable with heating and tea making facilities. "My second time in a year to the Lake District. Great Hotel and excellent rooms. My room was flooded with light and a big comfortable bed. Heating was great and the house keeping.
