"This is an exceptionally good hotel, all the usual facilties, good free wifi, comfortable bed, good shower, excellent dining room and breakfasts with good choice of breakfast. Good restaurant within the hotel with reasonably priced meals. Staff very helpfull. The only downside was no mirror in the bathroom so had to use own small mirror to shave by."

"Great location and well maintained clean hotel. Nobody at reception when I arrived and no way to contact anyone so a bit of a wait. This is a traditional old British building (though modernised) but this does mean uneven floors, small corridors and lots of stairs. Rooms are more than comfortable, well decorated and overall I’d recommend this hotel and would stay again."

"Lovely place, **very** friendly and professional staff and spotless rooms. The restaurant staff were top-notch, and on the night the food was excellent. I have not stopped talking to my friends about the chicken liver pate I had, that was superb. Breakfast was also extremely well cooked and presented, and to top it all up, the prices were reasonable. The free pool/spa/gym was the icing on the cake. My wife and I would certainly recommend it, and we will happily visit again. "

"Very nice one night stay. Hotel is nicely located opposite Deal beach. Lady at check in was friendly and helpful. Lovely room overlooking the beach and pier, good bathroom with a bath and rain shower. Hospitality tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Breakfast was good with drinks, cereals, fruit and yoghurt followed by choice of cooked food and toast. Staff were polite.
