"Loved this place! Was up the road, around the Dover area in Kent, desperately looking for a place to stay for night at a reasonable price & everything I could find was very expensive or selling out, then after hours of searching, this New Hotel came up on my Internet search! I drove to it immediately, wasn't many minutes drive, to check out if it was ok & couldn't believe my eyes! No car park, on a broad street beside row of shops & Police Station right opposite which feels safe & row of parking bays immediately outside, busy with Taxis & a takeaway, free parking overnight, can see to parking in morning. Right by a little river/ stream on one side, really nice & my ground floor room looked right out on with a sash window which opened fully which is lovely cos was August & hot (some hotel windows barely open!) walked straight in & spoke with the manager at desk & booked in. He explained This Hotel had Only Just opened a week ago ! As I was exclaiming how clean & fresh & New everything looked & feeled ! Everything was brand new, freshly painted, spotlessly clean And each room has a fridge in it! And not just a mini fridge! Quite a substantial sized fridge! The sort of under counter ones, half the size of a tall full size fridge freezer! Wardrobe, desk, large flat screen TV, kettle, tea & coffee, .. gorgeous comfortable bed crisp linen, beautiful en suite shower room, bedside table. Highly recommend! Very AmbientPlease don't raise your prices! Or I wouldn't've come or return;-) "

"They moved our time earlier on the ferries so we had to ditch one night in london so i booked this one on the photos and omg i should have run when another lady came out saying it was ok they didnt need it. I had a choice and picked the top floor. My hairs in my nose were burning . Toilet was sitting at a 45 degree angle and ask my hubby not to sit . I think i sleep 2 hrs all night. In saying that its in a prime position for the ferry that they could do wonders if maintained. It certainly didnt match the photos and i think bookings should be ashamed that advertising it. be ashamed that on it45 degree"

"Great place for an overnight stay in Dover. Especially, if Dover is your cruise port. A great location if your intention is to spend a few days exploring Dover. Highly recommend you contact this property ahead of time should you require securing your luggage prior to checking in or after checking out. Room #6 is on the top floor (2nd floor) accessible by stairs only. Room #6 has a very small ensuite bathroom which includes a very small shower. This shower is difficult to enter and exit if you are at big/tall person. Your host is excellent. Restaurant tip...Il Rustico Restaurant (4 Bench Street). Awesome Italian food and 10 minute walk from this property."
