"I was very pleased with the roomI had booked. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. A tiny drawback was limited hot water from the wash basin. However the building is an old one and there was a notice advising if the hotel was busy I may have to wait a short time for hot water so I did not mind this. A shower next morning was great. Breakfast was good too. The gentleman on Reception was excellent, informative and extremely hee Royal when I return to Bath in the future. Thank you."

"Lovely room if a little dated in terms of decor and where sockets were (nowhere near the bed!). Shame breakfast starts later on a Saturday as it sounded lovely but I had to be in work just after it started. "

"Was perfect for our one night stay. We’d booked a treat dinner in bath, at Menu Gordon Jones - highly recommend - and this spot was great for driving in and out of bath. Everything was great, didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment. Only downside is the property is a bit noisy, can hear every footstep from upstairs and we were situation on ground floor near the ladies bathroom, so could hear the hand dryer every time I got used. "Our stay over all was very good...staff very friendly and helpful. I am a light sleeper so traffic noise was a problem as was the street light filtering through the blinds.. the food was excellent and the rooms warm and clean. Just a small thing could have done with a few more coat hangers. We would definitely stay again but maybe request a room away from the road. "

"The property, staff and food were lovely. Unfortunately the heating isn't adjustable and it was a bit cold in the room. The shower fluctuated in power, with it not being much more than a trickle for some of the time."
