"Good staying point"

"Stayed overnight on a dinner bed and breakfast rate. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was nice but the bathroom was in need of an upgrade, that being said it was very clean. Inner was fantastic all meals are homemade to a very high standard not a frozen item to be seen. Breakfast again was a good. Very central to the centre of Lancaster. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"We had a lovely one-night stay for my birthday. The staff were friendly and we were given a room upgrade which was a great birthday treat. The original staircase is gorgeous and our room was spacious with a lovely en-suite. The breakfast was great too. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We had the most wonderful night’s stay at The Gateway Inn - friendly smiley staff, superb drinks selection, delicious dinner (lamb henry and sea bass), comfy bed, sparkly clean bathroom, delicious breakfast (we had the most amazing eggs benedict with perfectly-poached eggs, plus the cereal, yogurt, fruit, granola, nuts and seeds, high-quality jam, toast, cheese, Nutella, tea and coffee….all for £8.95!).
