"We really liked the location and were super excited to stay in Old San Juan for a few days but had no idea about “the stairs”. We had just come off of a 7 day cruise and had planned to stay but once we arrived, we saw “the stairs” and almost passed out. We have 4 pieces of luggage and there’s no elevator. Our room was on the top floor. We spoke to Omar (the manager) and decided we wouldn’t be able to stay. He was more than gracious and even refunded us our money for the 2 days we canceled. ...

"You have a great staff. They were friendly and helpful. I had never called an Uber before and they helped me set up an account and arrange from a driver. They let us leave our luggage so we could go somewhere for lunch while waiting for our room to be ready and offered to put valuables in the safe."

"I knew the hotel pool would be under construction during my stay, but I wasn’t prepared for the noise. This is my third time here, and aside from that, everything was great. The hotel itself is fantastic, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was both beautiful and spotless."

"Ideal location in the middle of Old San Juan. This is a no frills hotel with an elevator. Majority of rooms in the back and like other simulate type of hotels, there are no windows because it is in the middle of 2 other buildings. Small refrigerator in the room. Good for solo travelers and if you don’t spend time in the room other than sleeping. "
