"Absolutely fabulous hotel. We stayed in a studio apartment which was Absolutely massive! Immaculately clean, beds so very comfortable. Room cleaned every day. Well equipped. Pools warm and super clean. Lovely jacuzzi pool. Plenty of sunbeds. Good, reasonable poolside bar, serving good menu selection, drinks and icecreams, good prices. Staff friendly. Water slide for kids. Two pools, bottom one with slide seemed to be more family orientated. Plenty sunbeds & umbrellas, and also shade from palms and pergodas. Some entertainment in the evening, but no mini disco. Aldi opposite, and a few restaurants a couple of minutes away. Taxis and buses right outside the hotel, as you really are away from Maspalomas and beach. Would recommended a car, as we did. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Absolutely wondwrdul, classy feel."

"Just back today from a brilliant 4 nights at this hotel. Room was very comfortable and got the sun all evening 446. Love it so much that I looked into extending my stay but hotel was at capacity :("

"We only wanted a little 5 night break, we normally do book all inclusive but decided self catering as only there for a short time, we arrived midday and our room was ready and what a suprise we had, over looking the pool, lovely big balcony with sunbeds to relax on if not wanting to go to the pool, the apartment itself was lovely and bright, 1 bedroom and bathroom and a sofa bed ( that was the only let down) it was rock solid unfortunately, this could easily be fixed with a topper that they use on the beds to make it more comfortable. The grounds of the hotel was lovely, entertainment was plenty, bingo and happy hour at the same time was a must!! We can’t comment on the food as we was self catering, we ate in the europa centre and down at the commercial centre where you do need a taxi, we chose to walk one night but the pavements were very sloppy so you really need to be careful, we found the walk down to Amadores beach was easier and was able to walk in the road, got to the bottom and then did the costal walk which was a lovely 60 mins sounds a lot but it was a lovely walk…We didn’t want our short break to end, but for what we paid we was really pleased with this hotel! We would recommend and ourselves are already wanting to come back! Hopefully soon! Thanks Altamar for a fantastic 5 nights! Wished it was longer!!! See you again!!"
