"Perfect hotel for a quiet getaway. Staff were very accomodoting & friendly.Hotel was great with character in the main building. Great room with all that you need. Only one complaint cobwebs all over the ceiling but totally understand why they were missed as only noticed them at night. Would definatly return."

"Outstanding place. Very rustic, delicious food, great sevice and immaculate accommodation. The only downside is the noise of the traffic when you are staying in the roof rooms as there is little sound insulation. Take earplugs and you will sleep soundly!"

"The Sugarbeat B&B is a great home from home, staff, food and service is top notch! Our room ‘Manilow’ was ok but noisy in the morning from 0700 with extractor fans for kitchens, plus doesn’t go off until 1100. The room low roof made it very difficult to relax, plus only one chair to watch tv or have a coffee in room. Cleanliness could be a little bit better with some stains and marks on furniture. Overall an excellent place and have booked again for April."
