"We came to Shrewsbury to travel by train to Cardiff to go to see a rugby match. The Holiday Express was a perfect location. The staff were friendly, the bar and small restaurant were adequate - we had a light evening meal which was good. We stayed 2 nights, the room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfasts were absolutely superb - the best we have had in any hotel. It was also very quiet and safe to leave our car. "

Our room was in the main building and an 'old' room as we had to duck down when entering BUT there was a sign to watch your head AND the room was excellent, very clean and all the makings for tea/coffee and...

"Booked last minute. I was expecting the breakfast was included but I was told not included when I checked in. I have showed the receptionist that I booked with breakfast but nothing confirmed in my email. I still have the screenshot but wasn’t something they offered me. Was very disappointed. "
