"Stayed for three nights and had a fantastic time. Everything was absolutely spot on. Upon arrival, the two people on reception were absolutely lovely and welcoming. The room was nice, comfy and had a lot of character. I seldom have a good nights' sleep when I stay away from home but I slept like a log all three nights. "A fantastic stay. Even better and bigger than the pictures. Great value for money. Perfect location near the train station and all the shops. However, it had all the amenities I needed and, much to my surprise, the sizeable, well equipped bathroom was not included in their measurements. I was delighted with the room as a result. "When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise.
