"If you don't mind driving back and forth on dusty bumpy roads and asking where the heck this place is over and over, then it might be ok for you if you are a surfer that doesn't mind substandard lodging. The outdoor bathrooms were dirty with no water and the room smelled like vapors coming from the uncorked sewer drains. The room is worth far less"

"I checked in & it looks like the hostel dormitory was being repainted so I got upgraded into room 56 at no charge! So I have a private room with a king size bed, a private bathroom & a tv that I plugged an HDMI cord into & streamed from my laptop on. "1st, this not a property for the very stuck up. This is real for backpack traveler and those interested in outdoorsy adventures. Its literally on the Mombacho Volcano. Sometimes being a little remote is a nice way to travel. Recently, near Popoyo in Nicaragua we decided to stay a few kilometres away from the beach and nearest town, in order to get a more real experience outside the tourists. Without a bike of our own, everything required long walks down these beautiful roads near the pacific coast. Whether it be for drinking water or a swim on the beautiful ocean, occasionally the extra effort makes everything so much more beautiful in the end. #Popoyo #Nicaragua
