Got a hair on my plate when having breakfast I told them they took the plate told them I didn’t want it anymore and when the check comes they were charging for the plate had to tell them that I wasn’t going to pay for.

Road conditions are the only downside, I recommend a truck or AWD suv. The location is secluded which makes it a unique experience

This is the second time we stay at the hotel. We love how quite and close to the beach is. The restaurant is the best in the area, with variety of meals and drinks. Staff is super friendly and open to help.

There’s an insane amount of mosquitoes and flys especially at night time, I shouldn’t feel the urge to go inside my room as soon as I’m done eating so I don’t get eaten by insects. Cocktails are overpriced.

This was my first stay in the region of Popoyo, and I chose this location because of the minimalist chic design, and the availability of AC. The pool is nice and kept clean, the food, bar, and service all meet expectations. The bed is somewhat comfortable but you do hear the ocean break all night long. If you are not used to this, or you have a light sleep you will hear the crashing waves for hours on end. This is located in front of the very long Santana beach, with Magnific Rock to the north and Rancho Santana to the south. You cannot go wrong with 99 Surf Lodge really.

A basic hotel, with decent amenities. An incredible number of bugs, due to the broken mesh on the windows. Would not return, especially for the price. Staff were incredibly accommodating and kind.

Cute small boutique hotel on the beach in Popoyo. Great access to the beach and nice pool area. Gives off modern chick vibe- with very nice and friendly staff. Food options at the restaurant are good. The rooms are very small- not much room to walk around nor storage. The rooms are have glass Doors/walls with pull down shades and wood slats. Great during the day for natural light and open view, but iffy on privacy. Would’ve liked more than four beach chairs for the entire hotel. No lounge area on the beach or pool.
