"This is a rustic spot but seemed like one of the best values on the island. The location was central and it was a quick walk to the beautiful beach. The staff were kind and i especially appreciated the kitchenette in my room since i have a strict diet and prefer to cook for myself. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler even when i came back after dark since it's well lit with lively restaurants en route. I would definitely come back if i return to Holbox."

"We loved El Cuyo & this small guest house. There is a lovely garden, small pool, loungers & the whole place is clearly really well cared for. It’s very peaceful. Comfy bed, very clean & housekeeping every second day. Good air con although we hardly used it, fan was fine. WiFi was ok for social, but you might struggle if you needed to work. It would be nice if drinking water & a couple of glasses could be provided, but there are plenty of places to buy water. Be aware there are a lot of...
