"The property is lovely and the staff is excellent. Daniel and Betty are both personable, and helpful. Casa HX is a lovely and unique property with an interesting layout. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable. It lives up to the pictures on the website. Some minor repair work was needed in places, but these are smalls details. Commuting to and from the hotel was a small issue due to the distance from downtown. To counter this, local taxis have a transparent rate structure which is affordable. We also walked the distance (25 minutes) without feeling unsafe day or night. I would suggest that you bring a flashlight."

"The hotel design and construction is excellent. The pool is well designed and fun. If you like swimming in the ocean, the water there often has a strong current. The dinner menu is limited but the food good. However, people don't eat till late, so if you are eating around 7pm, you will be dining alone. The breakfast is tasty, but the service a little erratic and slow. Over all, the staff are very helpful and very friendly."
