"I was only here one night, in a private room. It was about as basic as it gets. The bed was okay but I could feel the individual springs. The included breakfast was alright but nothing spectacular. The staff were all very polite and professional, but the property itself was very much the stereotypical hostel, passable but not memorable."

"This was a good place to stay for a few nights in Monteverde. It was easily walkable to restaurants/shops, we found the staff very helpful and the included breakfast was simple but good! We slept really well here. We did notice a bit of a smell from the bathroom drains sometimes, but we just kept the bathroom door shut and it was fine! Overall a great place to stay in Monteverde on a bit of a budget!! "

"The breakfast was really nice. They had pancakes, orange juice, eggs, toast and different kinds of fruit! They made it there so it was fresh. The reception clerk was really nice and help me book transportation to the monteverde cloud forest! She also called to see if they have any guided tours and what time! I really appreciate it. I was on the second floor it was nice in the evening to look at the sunset from the balcony! Room was basic but clean. I enjoyed my stay there. Area seem safe."
