"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. "The rooms a very unique and they property is beautiful. We had tiny bats roosting on our villa and it was fabulous to watch them swoop and dive over the river in the evening. The owner & staff were lovely although my lack of Spanish made communication difficult. There was few maintenance issues, and the room it’s self could do with a little love."

"The price is not worth what they offer. There was no ventilation or tv in the room. Just a very tiny desk and chair. Hot shower was not working, they had to come help and get it fix 30 mins so we could shower. If the price was lower I understand what they offer is limited, but not worth even the $60 the night."

"Not our best Pura Vida stay. Newer style building with friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast and secure parking Traffic noise was very loud. The room lacked any character or charm. No seating in room, barely warm water in shower, reading lamps by beds were too dim to read by."
