"Clean rooms , comfortable, could do with small fridge and bottled water. Candle pots in the dining room need cleaning on every table and when asked for gin ina gin glass was told it wasn’t possible by dining room staff! Meals in the restaurant were excellent "

"Just awful 😞 a large empty car park except for one car and a smashed glass bar door covered up with a piece of plywood greeted you when you drove in. It spoke volumes really. We checked in which was pleasant enough by a helpful young man, and checked out again 5 minutes later. Not a good sign when the cleaning team were still cleaning the bedrooms at 4.30pm. But the main thing was the overwhelming smell of the corridors and the rooms was enough to make your eyes water and you could still smell...

"An old building was probably grand in it's day, but now needs a little tlc. But it was clean, friendly and comfortable. All I needed for a quick overnight stop."

"The weather was very bad, ice and snow. Log burners in hotel helped my mood on arrival. The hotel has good parking and the staff very helpful, evening meal very good and also breakfast was excellent. Room and bathroom was well sized and all clean and comfortable. Cannot think of anything negative. Apart from the weather. Will stay there again next time I need a hotel in the area."

"Tried to review taking into account the price. It was a good location to break the journey. I arrived very late, reception lady helped me take bags to room as no lift. Very big room. Run down but clean and warm. "Loved Staying here before the theme park Season really kicked off. My only issues are that checking out its best to do after 7.00. due to needing to phone to unlock the main doors if you require to leave before 7.00 Checking Inn at a late time can be problematic due to the main Gate connects to someones Mobile and Signal in the area is extremely poor"

"Stayed here loads before covid for work so i didn’t bother to check the reviews and what a mistake. The hotel is being used to house asylum seekers who have made this their home by using the the corridors as children's play areas (a bike race at 10pm) with screaming kids and adults arguing. "Pretty rough area of Rotherham. No check in desk or reception. Email was the only communication. Tiny slim duvets and very small pillow which had a hair on it, however the owner did arrive with 2 extra pillows and seemed like a nice guy. Sink was blocked.
