"Location was great, bed comfy clean towels. Needs few touches plugs in better location needs bathroom shelf, side table etc. Sadly lift not working throughout stay BIG impact on our stay as we were on top floor 8 levels from ground very steep stairs. It deterred us from shopping as unable to carry things upstairs. Our knees badly swollen now!!! Staff were lovely. Needs blackout blinds slightly noisy rooms doors banging"

"This is the second time I have stayed here when working away. The staff are friendly, the food is basic pub grub, but of a high standard. The rooms are clean and comfy, so, nothing to dislike."

"It wasn’t the Ritz but it wasn’t sold as that! Good value for money, everything was as described and our host was cheerful and very helpful. The karaoke was fun in the evening and we had a good reception from locals and other guests there too. A good place to stay while on the road or for onward travel! "
