"I absolutely loved my stay. The staff was SO helpful and kind. Location was incredible. I would opt for including breakfast as it was absolutely delicious and an easy start to the day. My only critique is that the staircases are very narrow and not for the faint hearted, but this is true of all Dutch staircases. I cannot wait to stay here again. "

"The room is spacious for a family of four. We all have individual bed. The only thing I would recommended is to clean the ceiling fan that was all cover with dust. We found the location is very close to restaurants and train. Supermarket just next door super easy. "

"We enjoyed our stay at NL hotel. The room was small, but comfortable and clean, and has a lovely view of the canal outside. It was conveniently located to the 397 direct bus from the airport and within walking distance of downtown (if you like to walk). Very close to the museums. Nice area with many local restaurants and bars. The only hiccup was that there was nobody around when we arrived and nobody answered the bell. "Lovely helpful staff in a great location. Room was spacious and beds comfortable. The basement room and whole hotel is in need of refurbishment, it’s tired and dated. My bed next to the window was drafty and the area where the mirror is has no lighting. But otherwise a good place to stay."

"Great Hotel just adjacent to Leidseplein. Room ok size, very comfortable bed , excellent powerful shower, view was of another hotel breakfast room. Bit of noise bleed from other rooms, doors closing etc…. But not dreadful. Really nicely decorated and very clear Front of house staff very helpful. Breakfast basic, not worth the money and the honesty bar/fridge was locked up a bit early for a late evening night cap. Over all good stay and I’d stay again. "

"My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond. Very easy to get to shopping district and the GVB tram (72hr pass is worth it). The sandwich shop nearby is AMAZING. My recommendation is splurging on a larger room, as the small canal view room is better suited for one person. All and all, great hotel, but just expect friendly staff and a place to sleep."
