"A lovely hotel which is very central. The hotel itself is nice and quiet and clean. Outside was noisy but manly due to Christmas party season. I’d definitely stay again. "

"It was a really lovely stay, perfect location and friendly staff. The room was clean and cosy although very dark, bed not that comfortable but ok for one night. There were few plugs, so if you need them for work would consider an extension lead. The reception was beautiful, wonderful Christmas decorations. If you have trouble sleeping would not stay here as very loud and busy location. I would stay again, overall excellent. "

"An excellent hotel conveniently located opposite Newcastle Central Station and within easy walking distance to many shops, bars,and attractions, the reception staff are so friendly and helpful and are a credit to The County Hotel. This was my grandson's first stay in a hotel so wanted to make it a good experience for him and this hotel did exactly that. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again next time I'm in Newcastle."
