The pool has a few missing tiles but, apart from that minor thing, everything else was nicely kept and clean."

He was there with a friendly smile to greet us when we arrived; he showed us to our villa and was available throughout our visit. "Really good option, at walking distance to the city center. Staff is great and welcoming, and the place is a great place to start or finish (or both) a trip to Costa Rica. The place has a 'good-hostel-vibe', has an associated parking garage nearby (at a cost) and it is safe and quiet. Rooms are spacious and clean. Just be aware that restrooms are shared - which were not specified when we first made the reservation. "

"This hotel was so lovely, I was so impressed by both the service and facilities. The check-in is at el Faro hotel but this is really very close, like next door close. The Faro restaurant and pools are fab and are up a small hill but the walk is perfectly fine for a normally fit person and the view is worth the climb. Room was great, clean, bigger than I expected with outdoor space. Bed was so comfy. Facilities in the room and hotel were impeccable and the location is the best in town. Right next...
