You will see Resplendent Quetzals on the early morning tour (thank you to the guide!), and many other special species in Costa Rica right in the gardens and at your cabin windows (Long-tailed silky flycatcher and volcano hummingbird, for instance). This is a beautiful property, well maintained and quiet. You do have to walk on narrow pathways up and down a hillside to the cabins. "Shower water temp beyond control. Bathroom is old and could be cleaner. A/C water dripping to the room floor all night. Room too dark, more light needed. It’s not a low price lodge, would be great if the owner can invest on some improvements. Kitchen lady is nice and friendly. "
