"Really enjoyed my stay. Excellent hotel situation for me once located. Hotel and room very clean, loved the room and balcony. However I found the mattress uncomfortable as were the meager pillows. The forwarded information , how to access keys were incorrect and had to wait for the establishment to forward correct info whilst standing around outside, that was stressful. Eventually once I settled in my stay was on the whole really enjoyable ."

"Amazing stay at Bancal! The hotel is huge, green, sustainable, the view of the Teide incredible and the service excellent (thanks to Charlie!). We ate at the buffet and the food was really good and the staff kind and professional. Overall, the quality/price is unbeatable and we really had a lovely stay."

"Fantastic hostel with friendly and proffessional staff, located about 15 minutes walk from the Centre. Two large terraces, free breakfast and extras such as laundry and towels very reasonably priced. The road outside is quite busy during the day, buy not too bad at night."

"It is important to note that this is a very small hostel. But that being said, they treat everybody that walks in their door like family. Alejandro the manager is so attentive and friendly and excited about life. He is the perfect host and a cornucopia of information about the island and all the hiking that can be done there.
