"We chose this property due to close proximity to the airport- 10 mins drive - very convenient for an early flight . We additionally chose the hotel as the menu looked really good. We arrived at 1800hrs and were informed the cook had gone home so the full menu was not on offer - just the basic pizza , burger and fish and chips . That was disappointing, we still ate here and the food was fine. The restaurant was really dark though ! Hotel room was clean and spacious and loved the welcoming...

"The property is a Georgian house, it is noticeably old but well-maintained and clean. It's location is perfect for public transport or walking into the city centre. It has good parking on the premises. We had a large room on the top floor with great views, quite a lot of steps so something to keep in mind for older or luggage-laden guests. This suited our needs perfectly but may not impress those who want a more "modern" or refurbished hotel."

"The room was excellent, very spacious and comfortable, especially the bed. The stairs are a bit of a challenge, especially up to the third floor where there is a narrow section, but it is a very old building so this is to be expected. My only criticism has to be the shower. We were up in room 23, and the water pressure is close to zero. Sink and toilet are fine, but the shower is pretty much unusable. This issue urgently needs resolving, but as I say apart from this it was really an excellent...

"Booked this hotel last minute as a stop over on the way to London and glad we did. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy as well as being well decorated and comfy. Quaint little bar and restaurant is attached, we didn't eat but did enjoy a drink in the courtyard style patio. We were given a ground floor room (named wisteria) that was a great size with a huge bathroom, the room had a smart TV and some very welcome air-conditioning during a heatwave.
