"The Hotel is a wonderfully panoramic location overlooking the lake. It’s a great location in a grand historic building. I am not a fan that charges for parking. Just add it into the rate! You can only check in at 4pm (although we managed at 3.30pm). I have traveled all this planet and this is the latest l have experienced in 35 years. "Only had 2 night stay half board booked a large double room but on arrival had a quadruple room no big deal as more space. All meals and breakfast were very good, Room was clean,cleaner asked on first morning if we required any fresh towels. Entertainment at night was 3 singing acts 2 were very good 1 not so good.only down side was thought bar prices were a bit high when paying at bar, think they have an alinclusive opinion but not sure on prices "

"Lovely hotel we stayed in the family room with a balcony. Very spacious and clean. Loved the location of being outside of the town so it was quiet but a 2minute walk to everything. The breakfast was lovely, especially the eggs Benedict. Parking was free and had a space for every room. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back."

"When we arrived we were given a terrible room wardrobe broken chair broken not a nice room ,complained and was moved to a better room , couldn’t use shower as not disabled friendly no rails to hold on to .but was a better room, staff were lovely very helpful and friendly were really good with the dog , would stay there again but would ask for proper disabled friendly room"

"Just returned from an overnight stay at the Lucena with my partner and toddler. Arrived early and asked if we could leave our cases but we were able to check in straight away. We had room number 3 which was a double bed and bunk bed room. We had more than enough room for us all. The beds were really comfy which was definitely needed after countless walks up and down to see the illuminations and the kettle in the room was very welcomed. Hotel was in a great location and close to the attractions...
