"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

"The room was good and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. There was some noise in the small hours (not sure if it was residents) but otherwise a good place - reasonable location for Ally Pally."

"Good stay at the Pear Tree Inn! Staff were great, calling me as I was arriving late and sending across a AVT invoice quickly (as there is no one there on checkout)! There is no hairdryer in the room - I didn’t realise this until the morning and there was no one downstairs to ask! "

"really stunning beautiful place , your in your own little world there and the clean and care put into the rooms is spectacular! However the area is a bit of a letdown just due to people throwing fireworks and the level of noise but that can’t be helped by the owner and it’s not a reflection on them at all it’s just a shame as it’s such a lovely place to say in itself. "Travelled as a family, was met on arrival to hotel, staff very friendly, gave the kids free lollipops& showed us to our room. Room was clean and comfy, just what we needed, shared bathrooms but didnt bother us as we didnt bump into anyone. Microwave, kettle& some cutlery in the room. Basic but for the price really good especially as its close to tube station. Area is a bit rough, rubbish etc everywhere but hotel itself was clean& tidy. "
