No email received and all my bookings for the Ibis at Swindon are still live. I checked in next door at the Holiday Inn express, she explained that they were fully booked and there are plenty of hotels in Swindon. I asked to see the manager of the HI express and fortunately they managed to get me a room which I had to pay for...

"Love the Alice in Wonderland theme. We stayed in Alice’s Chambers, all blue and white, very charming and pretty. Everything was newly renovated and impressive. Fabulous shower with TWO shower heads and push-button temperature control. Very nice bathroom, although there was no outlet … is this a UK thing? We’re 1 for 4 so far on bathrooms with an outlet. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, lots of outlets, big TV, no on-site staff but excellent by-phone service when the Wifi needed to be...
