"Fantastic experience from the first point of contact to the end. In the morning of the booking I had a text from the owner explaining the parking, key code to the gate etc which was very helpful. Overall the room was clean and tidy and comfortable which was well needed after a long day travel and course. If I am working away in the area this would be the place I would book again easily. "Lovely little hotel. I arrived and departed in the dark so didn’t see much of the surroundings. It has a nice countryside feel to it with the converted barns. I found I could hear guests next door’s conversations and wake up alarms. The biggest thing for me however was a giant spider that appeared on my bed at 4am as I was getting ready. I guess being a rural location that can be expected however, it has deterred me from returning to the hotel. "

"Took a bit of a circuitous route to get there from the NEC. The premise appeared to be an extension to a house which may have been split in to flats with a corridor to other door. However the premises were clean and had decent facilities When I arrived there were no towels but after contacting the agents someone turned up 20 minutes later with the aforementioned towels. The central heating want on but another radiator did the job. Overall decent value for money. Parking was a bit tight but...

"Not happy as could not get hold of anyone to let me into the house/room. The outside condition is not great. Overgrown garden etc Not sure neighbours are happy about it being rented Tried to get refund but as hotels.com could also not contact the vendor they could not give me a refund."
