"This is an adequate place to stay if you go in with the expectation that it is a homestay, not a hotel. All staff were very friendly and courteous. The floor was quite clean but the room was very basic and old, with dirty walls. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. A light breakfast is included but other amenities listed on Expedia were not: for example, there is no daily housekeeping and no toiletries, not even soap! We did get towels and toilet paper upon request! Also note there is NO HOT...

"The hotel boasts a distinctive design, with each reservation being allocated a bubble-shaped living space. The views during both sunrise and sunset are truly captivating. However, there are much needed areas for improvement. The bubble becomes uncomfortably warm during the day, even with the air conditioning at its maximum, and gets quite chilly at night, even without any cooling. "I had such a great time at Teja Home Stay thanks to the hospitality of the owner Teja and the friendly staff members. It was close enough to the center of Ubud but a bit away from the extreme craziness which was perfect for me. Personally I enjoyed talking about art culture both in Japan and Bali with Teja.
