There has been a change in how they charge for book now pay later. They failed to advise in a timely manner that they needed a deposit 24 hours before checking. We received a whatapp text in transit and it was just very sloppy. You need to state at time
Of booking that you require a prepayment 7 days prior - they kept sending me the cancellation notice and I never cancelled !!! It’s was distressing to say the least. We were upgraded to a garden room which was much appreciated.
The staff as usual were great and the complimentary massage as a VIP was worth it.
The only complaint about this property is during busy period the pool staff need to clear the cabanas and pool chairs. People think they can dump their stuff and leave for the whole day only to return at the end of the day when that is a loss of revenue for the hotel as other guests wanted a daybed and we’re going to spend money and eat. Please revise your policy and advise guests that belongings will be removed and the lounge made available if they leave it unattended for more than 60 minutes. It’s not fair for the other paying guests.
Also there was a big noise complaint as there was bass music coming from
One of the bars until 3am and it was so loud. The Como is so far removed and a luxury hotel not a backpacker hotel but with the new beach clubs around and restaurants the music is so loud. Please work with the local authorities to come to an agreement about the sound being turned down after midnight
