"I was not feeling well and they were very nice to me. The meals were great especially the banana pancakes for breakfast. They just let me hibernate in my room while getting over whatever crud I'd picked up. Room was clean and adequate for a single person. I could control the AC which was nice, not being used to a tropical climate. I would love to go back when I was healthy to see more of Bali."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Jati cottage. We were really sad to leave. Our room exceeded our expectations on arrival. Our room was accessed up our own set of steps, we had a large private balcony overlooking the pool. 2 double beds side by side which was perfect for our needs, there was also a sofa in the room. "Near market but secluded a bit. Be prepared for animal noise at night. I did not eat there as better options within walking distance in central Ubud. Something that I not at 2 hotels in Ubud is when you put the sign clean my room’ and go out, they don’t clean the room but turn the card that say ‘do not disturb’. Then they say they didn’t clean because of the sign. "

"The best hotel we stayed in our whole trip. Family run hotel with amazing service even with a little language barrier. In a friendly little village. Amazing veiws from the rooms and they were big and spacious. Could not recommend staying here anymore if I ever return to Bali will definitely be staying here again !! Just be aware it’s about 20 minutes to the main town of ubud but you will find this with most hotels, they offer a taxi service however which is super cheap"

"I spent nearly a month in February at The Cozy Haven and JoJo and the team were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and the room was excellent (I stayed in the Junior Suite). The property is only a few years old, lovely interior and great space. Internet was fast. Cleaning and maintenance was excellent. It is walking distance to the main Street of Sanur close to plenty of shopping and restaurants and only 29mins to the beach.
