"Room was a little on the cold side for my taste but otherwise the hotel was what I expected. A practical, clean and safe room in a service station by the motorway. Easy parking and very kind staff."

"One of many stays at this hotel, The majority of staff are welcoming and friendly. Facilities have been adequate. But last room was getting to look a bit tired in the bathroom as the shower splash to easily onto the MDF skirting board, leaving flakey paint and swallow boards. Also the neighbouring room extractor fan sounded if it’s only a blade missing due to the bad vibration which resonated through the wall. The Spa is now looking in need of a major overhaul. "A good hotel that I have stayed in before. Staff are very friendly. Food in restaurant very good. Room in coach house overdue for a deep clean and a refresh but comfortable. Bathroom spacious and worked well but again a deep clean needed. Some slight mould around. "

"Tony runs the place and was very welcoming. It is a lovely property in a wonderful setting with plenty of parking for guests. I had a really nice room with a great shower and very comfy bed. The place is very near to some good dining options for the evening. Cooked breakfast was ok but overall a very pleasant stay which I would use again for sure."

"Unfortunately Hotels dot com double booked the room so my "guaranteed" booking was in fact not guaranteed and I had no bed for the night!! H.C knew about the lack of availability 2 days before I was told (1 hour before check in). So, with no time to find a alternative my weekend was ruined. I must stress this has nothing to do with the hotel, I just suggest you use a different company to book. "
