"The accommodation is above the pub that is part of The Royal George. The rooms are not quite to the standard of Premier Inn, however they are very clean, all the staff are particularly helpful and it is particularly good value for money. There is surprisingly no external noise when in your room. With a large comfortable bed with 4 pillows, I slept extremely well. Highly recommended if you need overnight accommodation in the city centre for work purposes."

"Nov 2024 - This is a very old pub, persevered very well and in keeping with it's original historic 656 year old design. Great food and drink selection and wonderful staff. With that in mind, it is a pub, and therefore very noisy until around 12am later at weekends.
