"Excellent location and staff. The breakfast was wonderful with everything to offer. Parking was great and the hotel was in walking distance to everything. The cathedral was minutes away, coffee and food shops everywhere. The rooms were clean, the only gripe I have is the pillows on the bed were terrible. You could not fluff them at all and they are in need of replacement. Other than that I would definitely stay here again, I would just take my own pillow "

"One night stay for work. Was basic hotel but clean and had everything I needed. Perfect for the train station, was just a two minute walk. Only downside was the building works taking place outside so at 7.30am there was loud voices and noise outside."

"We don't get away very often and finding an affordable price with Astor, made our trip possible. The rooms were clean with communal spaces to; mingle, pay games, watch movies, plus a communal kitchen. However we chose to stick to our room as we planned as most of our time would be spent in the city. A easy walk to the city centre plus a bus for those that struggle right out side the hostel. "One night stay for a gig in Leeds, the lady on reception was the most welcoming of any staff I’ve ever come across in properties I’ve stayed at . The place was nice and quiet and well presented. It done exactly what was required, the only negative I would say was that the room was very cold and the heater only stopped on for a short period of time but that also could have been myself not knowing how to work it correctly. "The Briarcroft Wayth Hotel is a small boutique hotel and great place to stay. Parking is easy to find, the sitting area is lovely. They provide a guest kitchen with refrigerator dishwasher sink, etc., as well as tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The rooms are nice, although some are still under renovation. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only wish was that the mattress had a soft mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Other than that it was a great stay!"

"We absolutely love this place been a few times now and every time is spot on perfect (wish we had some sugar and tea bags and milk for the room but will remember next time) brilliant as a dog friendly place, our pup loved it! All facilities and room were perfect for what we needed for the night thank you so much for our day and night I’m sure we will be back soon. "

"Excellent stay. Property was exactly as advertised. Owner gave great communication about location of property, check in and parking with pictures included. Appartment was clean and had everything I needed. Nice little apartment in a busy area, with a supermarket, convenience shop and a few takeaways within a 5 minute walk. Bus stop just outside. Would book again."

"The property was in a good condition apart from the smell coming from the bathroom- it made the whole place smell like a sewer for entire stay. This made it unpleasant - I complained to the managers but did not get a response. The bed could do with updating as it was a little lumpy. "
