"Good hotel, nice staff but yet again room provided was not the ones selected. This happens frequently with Hotels.com and is becoming a little tedious at times. Just simplify the room choices and stop offering upgraded rooms at upgraded prices if you aren't going to give the correct rooms upon arrival"

"Location and facilities great, as were the staff and management. Breakfast was one of the best ever. Buxton is a fabulous place, and we will go there again and stay at the Queens Head."

"Amazing value for money, room had everything you needed, although a little outdated it did the job but the shower was either red hot or freezing cold no matter what setting we had it on and the shower curtain could have been cleaner... Apart from the shower they are great little rooms, TV even has Netflix etc. Even though we were on a main road it was pretty quiet as we were in the carpark area which is set back from the road "

"Super stay - high quality furnished room, and quiet late on, despite the vibrant atmosphere at the adjoining pub. Only thing I could perhaps find fault with would be the high tog rating for the duvet (which made for a rather warm night !)"
