"Very well renovated, cosy cottage with lots of nice original features. Some interesting walks from the village but other than that not much there to do. But short drives (about 30 mins) to many lovely places to visit. Great communication from owner. Upstairs bedrooms very luxurious but downstairs bedroom a bit cramped. Really lovely welcome basket. "I you want to be out and about every day in beautiful scenery and then have an awesome base to relax then look no further. Stunning views out of every window and 2 large secure paddocks that you can let your 4 legged friend enjoy with no fear of them getting out. The hardest thing is convincing the dog to come inside and join you in the evening."

"We have just returned from a wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful cottage which has been decorated and laid out to a very high standard. Everything in the cottage had been thought of to enhance and make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable - The welcome basket was also a lovely additional touch. The hot tub is a great addition and great for relaxing in after a day exploring the local beautiful countryside. A huge thank you has to go to Jan for making us feel so welcome - We look forward to...

"The house was very comfortable and clean, supplies of tea,cofee etc.The owners very friendly and helpful. Locations was ideal for us: near the town centre and yet short drives to walks in the Peaks."

"Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends."
