"A bit odd arriving as had to text/ring to say we'd arrived but Ali was very welcoming, the room was nice; all very oldy worldy which I loved. The continental breakfast was fabulous to be fair. There is still work going on to refurbish but all in all a lovely place."

"The guest house is located in the center of town, making it easy to find. It is also close to the central train station, bus station, fast food restaurants, tourist attractions, and shopping areas are nearby within walking. This convenient location makes traveling to nearby cities even easier."

"Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December). Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table."

"Nice family pub. It can be a bit noisy during pub open hours but my family were very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. The bar below sells nice selection of beers and the play area kept our daughter busy so we could relax."

"My wife and I visited for a show in town, and the hotel was in a great location for accessing the town centre. The decoration was unique and really pleasant, the bathroom was lovely, and the bed was very comfy. We also really enjoyed having keypads to access both the building and room so we didn’t have to worry about keys/cards."

"The host, Pete, was extremely welcoming and informative. The property was on a busy street, and we enjoyed watching the hustle & bustle of the small city. However, our first floor bedroom was located in the quiet rear of the house, so we slept peacefully. A ten minute walk got us to the main attractions of The Roman Baths and The Abbey. "
