"This hotel is very well located, you have restaurants, stores and tourist attractions at walking distance. In addition, there is a taxi station right in front of the hotel (very important to go to the train/bus station). Last but not least, the staff was very kind. Highly recommended!"

However, if you have lots of luggage, there are several bridges to cross and the cobblestone street made it difficult to maneuver my luggage. When we left, we took a private boat from the rear of the hotel, which made it very convenient to the train station. The historical beautiful property was very special."

We had a small but comfortable room with a shared bathroom (there were 2 in the hall) and while I initially was anxious about that, not once did we ever feel like it was shared. The staff keeps the hotel and bathrooms INCREDIBLY clean; you don’t even get the feeling that there are others staying there. The location is also incredible - everything is within 15 mins walking. After a long walk up several flights of rundown stairs, we were made to wait outside the hotel enterance until the owner turned up half an hour later. Once inside the check in process took a further 15 minutes where we were told we needed to make a cash payment for the room which we had already paid for by card.
