"My daughter, husband and I had a wonderful seven day stay. We stayed in a king bed suite on the second floor. It was spacious, clean and quiet. I was able to enjoy the fitness area but I would recommend they provide mats so that guests and do floor exercises. Also to ensure the hand sanitizer especially in that room is always working. Wiping down exercise equipment before and after use is good practice for those who use the facilities. The pool was nice too. Parking was plentiful and breakfast...

"The hotel's service was exceptional. The restaurant is very convenient, and the food is good. However, restaurant service can be good or bad, depending on the server. "

"Lantern Inns is a very nice hotel. The staff was great. The only problem I had was that the handicap room had a regular tub/shower and that can be a problem to negotiate for someone with a handicap. Also, there was no shampoo and only one bar of soap. We were able to work around this as we were only there for that one night. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel for its staff and its cleanliness. "

"This hotel was great for my family. We only really spent mornings and evenings on site but absolutely loved it. The staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was good and slightly different each day. The pool and hot tub are well kept though the hot tub could have been hotter. Additional outdoor accommodations included a gas fire pit, cornhole boards and ample seating. My kids had a great time here on site as well in our adventures around Sarasota. Each of the beaches we went to...

"The property is in a great location on the quieter edge of downtown Sarasota, but within a 3 block walk of all the activities on Main Street. The facilities were new and nice. The ONLY complaint I have is that you need separate light switches for the shower/toilet room vs. the sink and vanity area. If there were two separate light switches, someone could use the restroom or shower without automatically turning on the light near the sink and vanity which shines in the main portion of the room...
