The 10 minute walk from the nearest train station was a bit inconvenient with my luggage, but the walk was very quiet and (of course) safe, winding through dense 1 and 2-story properties. "nice and cosy place near the shinkansen station but you'll have to commute to the city centre (sannomiya) or take a 15 min walk (10 if you walk fast). cleanliness is excellent and hostel is not crowded as well, making for a very comfortable stay. only catch is that check in times are strictly adhered to."
