"It was better than expected. The room were large, the staff friendly. The area is depressed but walkable to Yoshi jazz or the cinema. Trains run outside but you get used to them."

Cons: Other seating is not that comfortable. Chair and couch in the room were not pleasant to sit in. Plus the $15/day "destination fee" and $52/day for valet parking (there is no other choice unless you want to drive around downtown Oakland looking for street parking. Good luck.)
