"Pros: great centralized location near good food and metro stops, front desk staff friendly and helpful. After the 4th day we got really nice, soft bath towels. Cons: there was a lot of street noise (trucks) as early as 5:30 am every morning, the hotel's hot water heater broke during our stay and we almost had to find another hotel. They had it fixed in about 24 hours. Also there was a sign saying sheets would be cleaned every 3 days but our pillowcases were still showing mascara all week we...

The République station runs right under the hotel- this along with the central Paris location means nothing is too far away- minutes to Galleries Lafayette- minutes to Montmarte/ Eiffel Tower/ the Lourve and Notre Dame- This hotel also has a beautiful facade - rooms are well appointment and comfortable- Best Place to stay in Paris!"

"Not my first time in Paris and I enjoy staying away from touristic areas. Hotel Mareuil is perfectly located to still go to all the sites but explore great neighborhoods too. Despite being off a busy road, rooms are quiet. Rooms are clean, tasteful, modern and efficient (though all Paris hotel bathrooms can seem small to Americans). Staff very helpful and kind. Did not take breakfast but great boulangerie Utopie a block away. "
