"Nice central location but not in a busy, noisy neighbourhood "

"I was there for a 3 day trip and just needed a room for myself to sleep. Though it wasn't very big, it was clean and exactly what I needed. Value was good for what I paid. I did want to write this review, however, because the one hotel staff (curly hair gentleman) was absolutely delightful! He was so friendly, and remembered my name. I would honestly stay here again just for the customer service. He was a gem! Location to the metro was also perfect and I was able to easily navigate around Paris. "

"Great hotel lovely area of Paris! The staff were very helpful and friendly and we loved our stay! Just a shout out to the head concierge for booking a restaurant for us and arranging a taxi from the airport to the hotel! We would definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful hotel. A bit small and was a little disappointed we didn’t receive the flower room as pictured when I booked, but overall a great stay and experience. Room was very clean and I appreciated the complimentary wine left along with a lovely message. Great hospitality. "

"Really enjoyed our stay here! everyone was really kind and friendly. always said hello and goodbye as we passed through the lobby We stayed in the balcony room and was super cute and parisian vibes 😂 Lift was broke when we got there but was fixed the same day and staff kindly helped with taking our bags up there with 0 hesitation. bags were stored when we needed them to be in secure room in lobby and rooms were cleaned everyday. Room was sufficient size for 3 adults and had enough room for 4 suitcases to go under beds etc was close to two metro stations which was convenient for travelling into central paris and felt safe when walking back down that street at the nighttime thanks for our stay!"

"La Voltaire is wonderful! Our quiet room had a very comfortable king bed, a waterfall shower, a huge tub, and plenty of hot water; room-darkening shades, too. There were many options for breakfast, and all of them were lovely. Staff were uniformly helpful. We had no trouble using train and Metro to get from CDG to the hotel, and from the hotel to Gare du Nord - and during our stay, we walked everywhere, safely, covering territory from Notre Dame to Belleville. We would happily return to New Hotel La Voltaire."
