"We love this neighborhood, so we're always looking for nice places to stay. Le Clark is definitely going in the rotation. Our room was lovely and comfortable with a bit of a Parisian rooftop view. Plenty spacious for the two of us. We took advantage of the complimentary espresso machine in the lobby and the jars of free treats they offer at the bar. Service was friendly and polite. "Quirky hotel in the 10th arrondisement. If you are thinking to walk from Gare du Nord - its not far but the route goes through a dodgy area which may be okay daytime. The hotel itself is quiet and the rooms have been recently fitted out. The staff are all super smiley and friendly. If you can take care of yourself do stay here. If you are older or peace loving, I would suggest staying in a different area"

"Great breakfast! Comfy rooms with tall ceilings and big windows overlooking the street. Hate to see graffiti on monuments outside hotel, but hotel was nice and staff were excellent."

"Really enjoyed our stay here! everyone was really kind and friendly. always said hello and goodbye as we passed through the lobby We stayed in the balcony room and was super cute and parisian vibes 😂 Lift was broke when we got there but was fixed the same day and staff kindly helped with taking our bags up there with 0 hesitation. bags were stored when we needed them to be in secure room in lobby and rooms were cleaned everyday. Room was sufficient size for 3 adults and had enough room for 4 suitcases to go under beds etc was close to two metro stations which was convenient for travelling into central paris and felt safe when walking back down that street at the nighttime thanks for our stay!"

Hotel The Originals Paris Paix République

"This property was perfect for my college - age son and me (mom) for spring break. We had 2 twin beds, which was something I really wanted. The bathroom was surprisingly large - tub/shower, sink, toilet, bidet. It was clean, and housekeeping came every day. The République metro stop is literally right in front of the hotel (like on the sidewalk between the hotel and the street), and that was incredibly convenient. Hotel staff were very nice and friendly. We arrived back late the night before our departure, and the gentleman at the desk was genuinely concerned about our plan to get to the airport, no doubt ready to give help or direction. We were all set with a transfer, but his concern was really nice. We didn't really explore the neighborhood much, but it seemed fine. I went to a nice boulangerie around the corner. There were several US fast food restaurants in the square. We didn't go, but it did make it seem like a tourist friendly area. Definitely recommend. Would stay there again. Good value. "
