Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. "

It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. "My partner and I had a lovely anniversary getaway to Tim’s Cabin! The cabin itself had a perfect location, situated deep in the woods. At night we sat and listened to the crickets outside, enjoying the separation from our usual city life. The house was around 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and 30 minutes from Shenandoah, so it was a perfect mix of country, downtown, and nature!Would love to come back again."

"The property is located in a very beautiful and secluded part of Virginia. All cabins are nestled within the trees and our unit had a lovely tree shaded deck. We were able to eat breakfast and dinner outside in complete comfort thanks to the trees (this also made it very private). The cabin was nicely designed and the kitchen was clean and very functional. "The property needed a cleaning on the inside… cobwebs and overall dust. It seemed that no one had stayed in a while and was left as is. We had to ask the owner for washcloths because they were not provided with towels. WiFi was working half the time and was Roku so limited to watch anything. We will not stay here again but it could be a sweet place if adjusted."

"Loved the 3 bedroom/3 bath layout. It allowed for such individual privacy at the same time, the common area to be together. Also liked that it was a smaller hotel. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Lake Anna."
