Our boys most enjoyed playing with the friendly family pets, as well as taking a stroll through the fields to see some farm animals. The hosts also have a restaurant in town where we had a delightful meal during our stay. My only regret is that our schedule was so full of events that we didn't have even more time to spend in this beautiful and relaxing atmosphere."

"We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The property was stunning and the horses were friendly. It’s a great place to stay with family (kids included). The chef’s kitchen is stocked with every kitchen cooking utensil you may need. The rooms are just as large as they look in the pictures, so there is plenty of space to spread out and unwind. The weather was a little chilly so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors nearly as much as we would have liked, but...

"It worked out perfect for us. It’s secluded enough that if my dog barked, he did not disturb anybody. There’s a hiking path right next to the side so I could take my dogs for a nice long walk. Even though it was secluded, it was close enough to any place around. Shopping was only nine minutes away. Downtown Charlottesville was just a very short ride."

"Sam was a wonderful host for our three generation family visit to Charlottesville. He was responsive and helpful, and made sure our trip was a success. The house is very centrally located making it easy to get to all the various things we wanted to do. The three bedrooms and bathroom were lovely and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area, so perfect for the kids who went to bed early. Overall we had an outstanding trip...
