"Reception staff were adequate and not as friendly and welcoming as other places. Restaurant manager and waiter plus the barmen Liam and Abdul were great and especially the Irish chef in the restaurant, he was just fantastic. "Really pleased with our decision to stay at Made in Louise. It is a charming small hotel just outside the centre of the city but very accessible. We used an Uber to get to and from the Eurostar station but used the trams and buses while there. The nearest stop is just a 5 minute walk away. "It was really nice. Simple, very clean, close to public transport and city centre. There is a guest kitchen and dining area where you can store and heat up food as well as access hot water. It is kept nice and clean and tidy. There is also a selection of games and books and a ping pong table. Excellent for staying with kids and when the weather is not so pleasant. "I particularly liked the lounge on the 24th floor, I would argue that it is very much worth it to book a room that includes access. The room we had booked was spacious and had a great view over Brussels. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic and I loved the layout of the room. The complimentary drinks in the minibar were a nice addition to the perfect room. The only regret I have is that around 10:20, so 40 minutes before the end of the breakfast, certain items were already unavailable. I would argue that this should not happen. I do not expect to have every single cake or fruit to be restocked until 10:59, but 40 minutes is unacceptable. Overall, it was still the perfect hotel for a romantic getaway, and we will be back."
