"We stayed here for one night, and it was lovely. Supper and breakfast were great, and soaking in the jacuzzi while listening to all the birds, cicadas and other animals was very relaxing. The view from the back deck and hammock was incredible when the clouds went away! It was great to relax with a book. There were a few decent spiders we had to kill, but otherwise this place is amazing! Maria helped us sign up for the ATV tour next door, which was a fun excursion to do - especially...

"There was no communication between staff and guest because the staff "acted" like they couldnt speak english and when i used a spanish app they acted like they had no clue until they needed my money then suddenly they understood what i said and english. Constant noise and animals. Pool sucks too. They provide a home cooked breakfast which was really good so thats why they get 1 star but nothing else."

"Our room was very spacious and on the first floor. We even had a balcony at the other end of the room. The pool was small and a disabled person in our party could not get in it because there were no handrails. The setting was up in the mountains north of Alajuela and the air was fresh at night. We will return to this hotel because it is not far from the airport."

"We stayed 3 nights at Finca Vibran. The grounds and flowers are gorgeous and the views of the valley are amazing. Our room was very nice and comfortable. My only issue is that it was very warm in our room and only a small bathroom window for ventilation. Our only other option was to open our door at night (not worried about our safety at all) but the issue was bugs. There is mosquito netting over the bed, but I don't want to let all those bugs into our room. Lots of bugs anyway--beetles...

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment at the back of the property on the second floor. The room was updated and clean. Walking distance to restaurants. It is attached to a convenience store for beer, snacks and alcohol. Pool was clean. Also has a whole bar area that you can leverage by the pool. Property can be a little noisy in the morning when everyone is going to work since it is located directly on the main road to La Fortuna."

"The property was far more elegant than we’d expected! The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. The reception staff was friendly and helpful in every way. The restaurant staff was awesome, and the food was delicious! The property was like an oasis, with the river running by, visible from the inviting lobby. It was very safe and convenient, too. I’m so glad we found and were able to stay there! "

"This place was, truly, exceptional! From feeling safe on the secure grounds to providing an amazing breakfast to having spectacular views. We enjoyed our stay at Villa San Ignacio and would do it again in a heartbeat if we were back in the area! I highly recommend this place to stay if you’re looking for a simple and comfortable room. "We selected Hotel Lomas for our trip because of the amenities and overall apprearance. After a long day of fun physical activities it was nice to not have to go back into town to enjoy a wonderful local cuisine them relax at the pool bar or the regular bar. We met so many cool people from all over the world. Fabulous experience!"
