"This was our favorite stay during our two week road trip to Costa Rica. The resort is a quick drive into town while still being removed enough to feel immersive and peaceful. We saw so many birds without even leaving the property and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and friends by the breakfast porch area. The food and drinks we had at the resort’s restaurant were fantastic and even as vegetarians we had a nice variety of options to choose from. The room was spacious and clean, and we also enjoyed walking the trails around the resort. This would be our top place to stay again if/when we return!"

"Private cabin was nice. Best part was being on the edge of a rainforest and hearing/seeing monkeys in the trees and other wildlife. Be aware they may wake you up, but was worth it. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. "

"Beautiful scenery. Comfortable room with a view to observe wildlife! Food at restaurant was ok not that great seeing that it’s the only place to eat . Ground were beautiful and staff very friendly and informative . Guided nature hikes were great! "

"This was an amazing slice of beauty and paradise!!! We ended up staying here in one of the Villa's after our previous accommodations didn't work out. The only thing I will warn people about is if you choose to stay in one of the Villa's prepare to do stairs (a lot of stairs!) However, even with this the stay was peaceful, wonderful and the views were breathtaking. The best part was that each Villa has its own Wi-Fi so that you aren't fighting for Wi-Fi speeds! This is also somewhere that is pretty close to some amazing dining options! "

"We were a party of 4 and had an amazing time at Koora Hotel. It was in a great location for hiking, ziplining, horse-riding, night hike etc. The Natura sanctuary was amazing. Only comment was that the Aguti trail could be better signed posted. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were also able to order breakfast early at 6.15 am as we had an early hike start. We would highly recommend Koora Hotel. "
