"Beautiful property and excellent staff "

"This Hotel was lovely! The tropical property was lushly landscaped and well-maintained. The restaurant area was open-air, service was efficient, and the food was good! Breakfast was enjoyed by the whole family. We also utilized the pool and admired the wildlife. The room was spotless and huge. Staff was very nice and let us store luggage on our last day and have late check out. We took Ubers to town and activities and they were readily available and reasonably priced. El Salto rope swing was nearby, which my boys loved. Overall It was a very comfortable and pleasant stay and it was a fantastic value. Recommend!"

"The property feels brand new. It has the feel of a very nice AirBNB without any of the drawbacks you usually see these days. BAUMA has excellent housekeeping and responsive service for whatever issues arise. The villa was comfortable and spacious. The private pool was large enough for our family of four to enjoy every evening with Arenal peeking just past the greenery privacy walls. The design and utility of the space is perfect. My kids preferred the hotel to most activities we did in the Fortuna/Arenal area."

"The food was great, especially the international and the Latin restaurant! The breakfast buffet was the best! The staff were also very friendly and attentive! Mattie, the sweet cook that made our eggs every morning was just amazing! She was always smiling and happy to be cooking for us. Francis that greeted us during the breakfast buffet was also fantastic! So cheerful and very welcoming! We did not stay on the premiere side so our room was dated but we still had a great time at the resort! If you want to upgrade and have a better room then pay extra to stay on the premiere side. We do not stay in our room long enough to really care about that! The beach is not for swimming but we went on an excursion to Isla Tortuga for the best beach experience! A must tour! The resort has many pool games and activities but just know that it is mainly in Spanish. We wish it was more in English but we still had fun participating in some of the activities! Overall, we had such an amazing vacation there and highly recommend it! "
